Allen M. Caesar — Drummer
In 1966, Allen’s parents presented him with a
drum set, which marked the beginning of his career.
Shortly afterward he began playing with a local
“garage band” with engagements on Friday and Saturday
evenings. His drum studies include Junior High
Band and the Drum Corps and he is highly accomplished
on both the Electronic and Acoustic drums. In
1985, Allen was introduced to gospel music, playing
with a group known at the time as Stan Ford and
The Chosen. In 1989, he became a member of Second
Baptist Church in Falls Church, VA. and began
playing for the church choirs. In early 1995,
he was introduced to, and adopted by, the Mt.
Pleasant Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. to
play for one of their choirs. Allen continues
to play for both churches today. The affiliation
with these churches has taken him to performances
from Virginia to New York. He began with Mosaic
Harmony in 1997. |
